It’s Thursday!!! Which around here this week is like a Friday! I often have Fridays off, and Brian gets every other Friday off, so whenever those days align we get real happy on Thursdays! We’re looking forward to an open weekend, which I’m sure will quickly get filled with house projects… what else?! #newhomeowners
Today I’m bringing back Style Snag where I share things that I’ve found around the internet that are extra inspirational and/or helpful… ideas and resources that you might even be able to snag to incorporate into your own home! This week was extra inspiring as a couple of the sources seem less “professional” (you know, like they used a whole team of people and thousands of dollars to pull off the look?). I love when I can find inspiration that’s actually attainable!
This minimalist guest room by Style Mutt Home is inspiring me as I put together our guest room. There’s something so cozy about it, while still being very simple and practical.
I found this post on easy tips for a living room refresh by A Beautiful Mess incredibly helpful as we’re kind of in the middle of refreshing everything with our new house! I think this would be extra helpful if you’ve been somewhere for years and have grown tired of the furniture and/or styling that you have going on.
These tips to add character to a builder basic home from The Inspired Room are great! We’ve found that switching out the lighting has done wonders in our new home. I also love the idea of doing some unique stuff on your walls!
And lastly, here are some quick fall vignettes by Emily Henderson to get you into the mood for fall (which is apparently more difficult to do in warm places like California, but pretty easy to do up here in Minnesota!). And rejoice, because most of what she uses to style these vignettes is from Target! So it’s actually realistic and attainable for those of us who don’t have the budget for $500 throws and $100 candlesticks. 😉
