So You’re Looking for Dining Chairs

I’m always keeping my eyes open for good (and affordable!) dining chairs. We currently have a mish-mash of chairs from thrift stores and Ikea around our dining table, and while it was definitely the most affordable option a couple years ago, I do yearn for the day when we have a bona-fide dining chair set.

Dining chairs are tricky things to shop for. You have to take into account the style, color, and material of your table. You have to decide if you want a hard or soft surface. Whether or not you have children will definitely impact what kind of dining chair you look at, as well as factors like your space and budget. All of these things make dining chair shopping rather tedious, so I’m hoping I can help you with that first step of sourcing some good options.
