Crowd-Pleasing Meals for Guests

If you’ve been around here for any amount of time, you know that my favorite topic to discuss is hospitality! And I think that’s because I believe that hospitality is one of the highest callings of our home. Sure, I love talking about how to make your home more organized and beautiful, but if you aren’t going to share it with anyone, then really, what’s the point?

I’ve talked at length about different aspects of hospitality, but seeing as hospitality is so closely tied to food, I want to share with you some recipes that I sourced from my private Facebook group. I posed this question: “What are some of your simple, crowd-pleasing, go-to meals for when you’re having someone over?”

And boy did people show up! But I guess, who doesn’t love sharing their favorite foods?! So without further ado, I present 15+ ideas for easy, crowd-pleasing meals for when you have guests over:

Recipes

• This Spicy Sausage Pasta is comfort food at it’s best.
• Mexican Street Corn Salad that’s a home run for taco night!
• This Pesto Chicken Bake wins every time! Hearty, healthy, warm and comforting, pairs with lots of sides and SUPER easy to make!
• The best. lasagna. ever.
• Zesty Potato Soup
• Sausage and apple-stuffed acorn squash feels fancy but is super easy!
• Supper Club Enchiladas
• Comforting, simple, and allergen-friendly pot-roast
• We love this Tuscan mac n cheese! I also add baby ‘bellas which is delish!
• This mac n cheese option is also so delicious!

Simple Ideas

• Baked potato bar! Especially for large groups. Everyone brings toppings and it’s very allergy-friendly.
• Chili
• DIY tacos! We found a surprisingly delicious and easy vegetarian recipe recently!
  Soft or hard tacos, Black beans, Sliced avocado, Goat cheese, Honey lime sauce (just equal parts honey & lime stirred up). Sounds weird w/ goat cheese but it is SO good! It’s a weekly go-to for our family and my favorite meal when we have friends over! We usually have some extra add-ins if we’re entertaining and I’ll usually throw some chicken in the crockpot to shred in case our friends don’t want the vegetarian alternative!
